Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued additional invitations to apply (ITAs) for candidates within the Express Entry pool. In this latest draw, the department allocated 455 ITAs to candidates participating in a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
To qualify for an invitation, candidates must possess a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 802 and submit their Express Entry candidate profile. This is the fourth draw this year, following two draws for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and one earlier PNP draw within the same month.
As of now, IRCC will issue a total of 6,276 ITAs through the Express Entry system in 2025.

CRS Score: 802
Since July 2024, the immigration department has prioritized candidates eligible for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and category-based selection draws for Invitations to Apply (ITAs). This approach aligns with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) annual Immigration Levels Plan, which designates admissions for individuals in Canada who possess the necessary professional and language competencies to fulfill the nation’s economic and demographic objectives through the federal immigration framework.
In 2025, the priority categories within Canada’s Express Entry system include:
Healthcare
Trades
French-language proficiency
Express Entry serves as a management system for applicants, overseeing three of Canada’s principal economic immigration programs:
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
The Express Entry system operates on a candidate-applicant basis. Newcomers who qualify for one of the three programs managed by Express Entry must first create and submit a candidate profile. Subsequently, these individuals enter the Express Entry candidate pool. Candidates are evaluated using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which assigns scores based on various factors, including human capital, skills transferability, and additional criteria. Those with the highest CRS scores are most likely to receive an ITA.
The modification is consistent with the IRCC's continuous initiatives to efficiently regulate immigration levels and achieve its targets for the admission of permanent residents. As the landscape of migration continues to evolve, the IRCC remains dedicated to refining its strategies to respond to Canada's shifting requirements and demands.
