Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have carried out another Express Entry draw, resulting in the issuance of further invitations to apply (ITAs). In this particular draw, a total of 676 ITAs were granted under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) with a CRS score of 705.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off scores experienced a notable reduction in this round. In November, the rounds of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) noted CRS cut-off scores of 812 and 816.

Express Entry Draw

  • Number of invitations issued: 676

  • Category: Provincial Nominee Program

  • CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 705

This was the sixth Express Entry Draw following the November selection process, resulting in the issuance of 5,507 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence (PR).

As observed in previous months, candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) have experienced steady draws within their respective streams. The continuation of this trend is anticipated with the launch of the new "In-Canada" focus category, designed to specifically draw candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and various regional programs, especially those linked to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

Under Canada's latest Immigration Levels Plan, this category has been allocated a total of 82,980 PR admissions, accounting for over 40% of the total planned admissions for the upcoming year.

Furthermore, candidates demonstrating strong proficiency in the French language are anticipated to benefit from an increase in ITA issuances in 2025, as the allocation for French-speaking individuals outside of Quebec rises to 29,235 admissions next year. Along with the IRCC's Francophone immigration strategy aims to boost the number of ITAs for this category in 2026 and 2027.
