What is a Malta Schengen Visa?

A Malta Schengen Visa is a short-stay visa allowing non-EU nationals to enter Malta and travel across all 27 Schengen countries for a maximum of 90 days within 180 days. This visa is generally issued for tourism, business, family visits, medical treatment, or attending short-term educational courses.

The visa is valid for a specific duration and does not permit holders to work or stay in Malta beyond the allowed timeframe. If the applicants intend to stay longer or for other purposes like employment or long-term studies, they must apply for a national visa or residence permit instead.
